Regarder le son de la nature. Listening to the song of nature.

Allier tradition
et modernité.
Blending tradition
and modernity.

Based in Fare Ute, Papeete, I devote my craft to the string quartet — violin, viola, cello — and to acoustic instruments: ukulele and guitar.

My practice comes from twenty years of instrument making — viol, lute, harps, ukuleles — enriched by Baroque lutherie training, a stay at the Academia Cremonensis, and digital tools for designing plans. I choose sustainable, ethical and locally sourced woods wherever possible.

La démarcheApproach

Réparer, fabriquer, transmettre.Repair, build, pass on.

Three gestures, one conviction: an instrument is respected, extended, shared.

I — RéparerRepair

Ne plus jeter, faire durer. Stop discarding, make lasting.

Durability and ecological responsibility. Restore rather than replace; bring back an instrument once thought lost.

II — FabriquerBuild

Fait main, fait ici. Made by hand, made here.

Instrument sur-mesure, matériaux locaux quand cela est possible, finitions sobres. La beauté du bois sans artifice. Custom instruments, local materials wherever possible, sober finishes. The beauty of wood without artifice.

III — TransmettrePass on

Un savoir, une histoire. A knowledge, a story.

Telling the story of a wood, sharing know-how, opening the workshop: weaving a bond between two worlds, two eras.
